Why businesses work with me

I've built investment platforms that handle real money, shaped the architecture for supply chain financing, and now build web products at KAST. That same rigour goes into every business website and web app I take on.

Alongside my role at KAST, I take on a small number of freelance projects at a time, so each one gets my full attention rather than a slot in a queue.

Where I've done the work

  1. Aug 2026 — Present

    Senior Web Engineer

    KAST

    I build and scale KAST's websites in TypeScript and Next.js on Cloudflare, from Figma through to shipped, with performance, SEO, marketing pages and third-party integrations as core parts of the job.

    Behind the frontend I build lightweight backend services that connect the sites to the rest of the business, plus internal tooling such as notification systems and retrieval (RAG) pipelines for AI features, with more AI-assisted and content tooling on the way.

  2. Mar 2025 — Aug 2026

    Senior Software Engineer

    Embed Financial Group Holdings

    I led the engineering team's technical direction and co-led ConnectSure, a multi-tenant, event-driven embedded insurance platform on AWS. Templated tenant provisioning turned multi-day onboarding into a one-click spin-up.

    I also owned the group's web platform: a Next.js corporate site with a typed SEO and AEO layer, a shared design system, and Sanity CMS content behind a single frontend.

    On the AI side, I built a compliance pipeline on Bedrock that screens adverse media and regulatory news daily.

    Full-Stack Software Engineer

    Freelance — Financial Learning Platform

    Built a subscription-based financial learning platform end-to-end on Next.js and Supabase — CMS-driven multilingual content, Stripe subscriptions, and a real-time community with admin moderation.

  4. Sep 2024 — Mar 2025

    Software Engineer

    Capata

    A strategic initiative wholly-owned by TransAsia Private Capital.

    I was the technical lead for the new venture, shaping the platform's architecture with the CTO, directing an offshore development team, and designing the NoSQL data model for CRM and real-time supply chain financing.

  5. May 2023 — Mar 2025

    Software Engineer

    TransAsia Private Capital

    Led the build of a private debt investment platform from MVP scope through delivery, saving the fund USD 300k a year, with asynchronous trade booking (90%+ faster) and real-time reporting that cut delivery from hours to seconds.

  6. Jul 2022 — Feb 2023

    Data Analyst

    Micron Technology

    Analysed experimental data to uncover yield gains worth $150k/week and ran multivariate experiments saving $80k/week. Automated SQL and Python reporting pipelines for stakeholders.
